Healing comes in many forms. And what works for one may not work for another. For so long people are so reliable on opting out on the medication instead of changing their diet or adding exercise. The problem with taking the pill is that the pill does not give you back your quality of life. It helps you to extend your life but what is the risk. We need to be more about prevention then extension. Isnt doing the things that you enjoy and the ability to care for yourself worth spending a little time to do the research to be proactive in making the right choices when it comes to your health and well being. Some of this medication is very expensive. I do not understand taking something that is never going to make you better but most medicines have side effects. And a lot of the medicines these days are so strong , you never feel the same. Keeping a positive attitude, keeping ourselves busy and productive is a good way to get through the rough spots in life. Expressing yourself in creating some artwork is good for your soul and self confidence. Its a good way to vent and relieve stress. Color and art promote healing. Affirmations, quotes, thinking positive thoughts, meditation, quieting down the mind, clearing out the chatter, going to your happy place, those are some good tools to use when you have had enough of the rat race and you need some peace.
